Hello all

Post by LaurenceO » Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:43 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Good day to you.

I'm a newcomer to LF, have a Wista 45 with 135 and 90 lenses. Don't know what happened really, one moment I was happily enjoying a fulfilling relationship with my digital friends (Nikons) and then the VOICES told me to get all this.

So, lots of learning ahead. And waiting for sunrises, or rainrises just recently.

Welcome Laurence.

I know all about the "voices". They keep telling me to hit the bid button on ebay.
Regards
Dave

Welcome Laurence,

Only two lenses? You obviously haven't been hearing the voices clearly enough  Don't forget, there are larger formats that you still haven't tried...

Thanks for the welcome, I see I'm falling into bad company here :D

And, no, the voices haven't stopped - I see an Ebony 810 on eBay that I would own just to lick on a quiet evening in. Fortunately my bank manager would then headbutt me for spending all that money (she's usually a gentle soul).

" sell your bronica, you havent used it since the 4x5 arrived and get an 8 x 10"

I used to get those voices too; but recently I used the bronnie, and it was an absolute joy and charm to use. The voices went away and got replaced with the "Bronnie lenses are really cheap secondhand at the moment, buy buy buy" voices...
