Hi,
Just joined - found out about the forum over at lfphoto.info.
I'm not a Brit but I proudly carry a Scottish last name and I had a fantastic time in the UK last September, when I visited for 22 days. It was easily the best holiday I've ever had, anywhere.
I hope to return again (many times ).
I've shot LF for a couple of years. I currently have a couple of somewhat substandard cameras (a Pacemaker Speed Graphic and a Calumet CC404 monorail) that certainly are giving me the idea of what I can do, but I'm considering buying a Tachihari or Shen-Hao field camera one of these days. At least I have decent lenses, which is a good start!
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you guys.
Jim
