Hello from Plymouth

Post by Mike M » Fri Jul 04, 2008 6:37 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hi all

I'm 34 and live just across the river from Plymouth where I've been using digital for the last 9 years (this is my old website www.mikemeal.com ).
Even though I was made a bit of money from photography the enjoyment was lost. 6 months ago I turned my back on Photoshop, RAW converters and the whole digital malarky. I bought a Bronica SQ-A, started developing and enlarging prints but something which always stood out for me was the sheer quality of the LF prints I've seen....
I've had my Shen Hao for 3 days now and love it.

All the best
Mike

Welcome to the crowd - glad to hear you've had the spark re-ignited. You won't be able to machine-gun away like on digital and you've lost the safety net of RAW but there's a better wow factor when you get one correct...

Welcome to the world of LF mike. I followed a similar route myself, DSLR then MF then LF and doesn't look as I'll be turning back anytime soon!

Cracking surfing shots BTW
