Greetings from Cambridge

Post by Petenk » Sat Jul 19, 2008 12:25 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hello to all Forum members,

As a new member, I'm a trifle late with an introduction since I posted my first thread just a couple of minutes ago.

My love of photography spans some 60 years (glass plates) so some might say that I am a bit long in the tooth to regain my love of LF photography!

One of the advantages of my being a Senior Citizen is, that whilst regrettably perhaps too few of us have sufficient disposable assetts to indulge heavily in their interests, I am one of the fortunate ones and have treated myself to a 5x4 MPP Monorail and a 5x4 Tachikara (the former is a bit too heavy to cart about!), with a comprehensive range of Schneider lenses. I have yet to expose my first sheet of film!!

I'm so pleased that I found this UK based LF Forum and I sincerely hope that I haven't bored you with the ramblings of an old codger.

Best wishes,

Peter

Peter, welcome to the forum. You must have seen some changes in photography over the years. My oldest memories were using 127 and 620 film as a boy.

Welcome Peter,
I am from Biggleswade - not too far from you. Only been into LF for a mere 6 years but smaller formats since 1977 before that.
