Hello all.
Just joined after poking about as a guest for a while. In just coming up to 51 and loved photography when I was younger but stopped put it all slowed down and eventually stopped in the early to mid eighties.
My interest revived with a 3Mp point and click to go to Greece with in 03, then it was down hill. The 3mp became a Canon 10D which has changed over time to a more modern 40D for nature work, but the real slide began when I got my T70 35mm repaired and serviced. Whilst waiting for it to return I picked up a Mamiya 6x6 C330, then a 645 and a Pentax 67.
You can see where this is going, so Mrs B said only one more and thats it! So my last camera is a Garaflex View camera (£100 at an animal charity sale) 4 double sided slides (cost me an extra £5.00) with a Carl Zeiss 185mm f4.5 in a Compur Shutter, I have spent 2 months stripping it down and cleaning it, the monorail is due back this week (aluminium welds required to the tripod mount) but it's a pretty thing all silver with red bellows and I can't wait to use it.
So I have no idea how to load film, but I am well founded in technicalities of photography, so get ready for some daft, and pretty obvious (to you LF users) questions.
Rob.
