Manufactured by CC Harrison of New York and numbered 1946 w/o waterhouse stops but c/w both working radial drive and built in lens hood and being very well mounted on a Sinar sized board
For it's age, it's in excellent condition throughout - the glass is in as A1 condition as you would hope to see (for a lens of this age) - very nice brass, with no chips, dings, haze, fungus or whatever
I just don't use it so here's the chance to own a piece of 160 year old history
I'm still mulling over the price but if (very) seriously interested, pse pm me and I'll send photos thro' - sh&i will be in addition
Overseas, paypal only pse - UK - bank transfer pse for the Sterling equivalent
Our US cousins simply love these old Dag type lenses - I thought that I'd give it a run here for a few days to see if there was (any) interest - it'll probably go quickly when posted on that site
So, if you need a break from modern optics/getting stale with the lens(es) that you currently own, then give this a try
Approx 7" tall, 3" for the rear element and 3.5" at the hood end
Thx for looking
andrew
