I haven't actually used them myself, but here's a link to a German website. http://www.lumiere-shop.de/index.php?pa ... &info=1670vanman wrote:Hi Charles,
Are you cutting film to half plate size or have you a secret source of half plate film. I've got the holders but no film, I prefer 5x7 but half plate at the right price would be nice.

On the German site the stuff's about a pound a sheet, I won't pay that let alone what Harmon are likly to charge. I'll stick to Foma for the time being. Thanks anyway Charles.
Andrew, I drive a Transit for my sins, I can find it in the dark as it usually smells of rancid Lurcher (better than the hairy leather bellows on the 11x14). We must meet up in the sometime I'm looking for a cheap Tessar. Thanks for the tip about AG.

For this project, I am using Ilford's Direct Positive Paper which I am cutting down to size from 5x7. Not too bad a job - almost on a par with watching paint dry.vanman wrote:Hi Charles,

Hi Charles,
I've got a box of that in a draw somewhere. What speed are you rating it at? And are you just shooting it and deving it when you get home?
Oh and thanks for dropping the books back at the studio, sorry I missed you both.

By Front End, I presume you mean the non-forum part. I'll be putting some thought in to that today as I have cleared a few hours to work on it. We're all agreed it's not brilliant, but again we're limited by time and what skills we have in-house. Now if somebody out there knows a thing or two about web design and wants to help, please step forward. Thank you.

Hi Charles
As it happens I have content / pages you can have, up to date & needing very little ediditing there's no strings. Yes messages go to Spam and unwanted PM's from moderators get deleted without even being read, I've not read any in months.
That needs explanation. I won't read or reply to what can't be said openly in public on this Forum and this is the only Forum I've ever needed to treat this way.
The bottom line is there's a need to clarify the structurev of the forum, and simplify thing, to many chiefs and a very few indians as the red highlighting clarifies

That the moderators continue to put up with this makes one suspect you might be in some way related to Neville Chamberlain.
You're more tolerant folks than I, that's for sure.

There are plenty of people lurking on this forum and generally being put off by this discussion over who can be chief and who shouldn't be, so let's keep it to the point.
Seriously now, if you could give me/us some idea of the number of articles, their size and content, that would be useful. You've got my email, so maybe that's a better route than pm (smoke signals don't have the baud rate). We've progressed the design of the non-forum part as far as we can and we really need your articles at this point so that we can move to the next stage.
Thanks for your input.
Best regards,
Charles
