Printer.

Post by dennis » Mon Mar 13, 2017 10:20 am Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hi all,
I have an Epson R800 printer which I have given-up on. I am told it requires a complete manual nozzle clean, for which I gather there are kits available. Does a printer such as this have any value? Or do I just have to dispose of it? Thanks, Dennis.

Hi Dennis,

Having a quick look around the internet there seems to be lots of sites selling cleaning kits, must be worth a try?

I can't personally help as I don't print digitally.

Barry,
Thanks. Yes, I did know of the availability of cleaners, but frankly I cannot work up the enthusiasm for messing with it - too old I guess. I have just bought a new Epson which will probably do what I now require more cheaply than the R800. Dennis.
