I'd urge you to take up the challenge - it's certainly an experience. The most memorable part for me was lugging the gear up a steep hill and being completely out of breath at the top... and that was only the camera, flash, light meter and 135mm lens.
Having a total of ten shots certainly focuses one on what should or shouldn't be photographed.
