WTB or Trade: Schneider 150mm Apo Symmar L

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

WTB or Trade: Schneider 150mm Apo Symmar L

Post by David Evans » Tue Sep 15, 2009 7:55 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

I've listed quite a few things earlier this evening.
If anyone wants to trade any item for a minty Schneider 150 Apo Symmar L, or possibly late Apo Symmar, please PM me.
Thanks.
David

Howdy,

I have a nearly mint 150mm Apo Symmar-L but I don't see anything I really need as a trade. Are you interested in purchasing it? It's in the classified sections of apug.org and largeformatphotography.info.

This forum format is STRANGE. I can't figure out to post a reply to your PM. This lens is very near mint with perfect glass and coatings. The shutter is snappy and accurate. It comes with both original caps but no box. According to the Schneider website this lens was made sometime after January 2005.

Hi Joanna,

I did that and now I can see my reply in the message history... it wasn't showing before. Perhaps I'm simply not accustomed to the forum PM format. Then again, we Americans do everything backwards and reversed. This makes LF photography easier though.

David... If that Apo Symmar (non- "L") is as nice as the buyer claims you'll be very happy with your purchase. IMO, it's not necessary to buy the latest/greatest of anything especially when the gains are just noticeable. CONGRATS!!
