Workshop in Snowdonia Images

So, the results are in. As usual I found it very difficult to make images in Snowdonia - I'd much rather climb the mountains rather than failing to make images due to the weather.

So, I tried to challenge myself rather than worry about getting winner pictures, but anyway, here are my results.

That was fast!
Picture 1 is the nicest overall but number 2 is the most interesting.
I will be putting some of the participants' pictures on to the website in the near future. Do you mind if I copy some of yours over?

Was that Velvia or are you still trying out the 160S?

Top shot Paul - what film did you use

Hi Issa - thanks (the scan is very poor though!).
Details are as follows:
Walker Titan 5x7 XL, Nikon 120mm f8, Canham 6x17 Roll film back, Ilford Delta 100 in 120 format, Lee Orange filter. Exposure was 3 seconds at f32. Film developed in Ilford Perceptol (1+1) for 15 minutes and then selenium toned for 5 minutes.

I see you've got listed a 270m lens with the RSW45 - are you using the Ebony extension back? Or have you found a different way?

I'm trying to get closer to the subject, but the 180mm lens I've got won't focus close enough without some sort of extension.

Great set on flickr, by the way. I wish I could have made it to the workshop, but I'm travelling too much with my job at the moment!

Eddie, The 270 has a nice 152mm FFD which is ideal for us RSW users with limited bellows draw. Unfortunately they havn't made such a lens since about 1974.
