I used to have one of the uniloc ballheads - possibly the 30R and it was fine for 35mm and MF but suffered a bad case of droop with the P2 so I had to get a manfrotto 229 - good but always felt there was play in the system somewhere, even when it was all tightened up :(

My UniLoc head is a 60 something - I've had it for years, so I don't actually know. VERY solid (and heavy). :)
