Victoria Baths - The Evidence
Well folks we had a wonderful time at this excellent day out. Many thanks to Paul for finding such a gem of a building.
Here is a picture taken by Helen on her D...... just to prove we were all there.
Aaah ! Obviously these D...... cameras aren't very good at resolving, I'll try again
So now we seem to have been able to find the Lesser Spotted German D...... complete with pocket D......, seeing if his pocket camera can resolve the missing participants
Third time lucky; it's amazing what you can find lurking in the deep end
Finally, Charles, unable to find a local mountain to scale, decided that perching precariously over the deep end would have to suffice

Just wanted to say a big "thank you" to all who ventured to Manchester baths - a real gem indeed!
Everyone appeared to have a good day and I think Mr Fuji is going to be kept in business for a while judging by the amount of film we all got through!
I am hoping to arrange another visit early in 2007!
Paul

Thanks to Paul for finding the place and setting it up...
As Charles said - it's somewhere you keep wandering around and finding more bits but then run out of time. I thought we were going to be booted out at 4-30 so I packed up but maybe could have squeezed an extra shot or two in.
Apart fom the Ebony Owners Club, it looks like the Manfrotto Appreciation Society was making an appearance as well
Andrew
P.S. Anyone we recognise from a previous life?

You mean the digital shots that Helen took are not enough ?Andrea wrote:When and where will images from this workshop be posted please? Love to see this place and the images
I guess you will have to hang on for a little bit, seeing it has been a bank holiday today. I am hoping mine (colour) will be delivered to the labs tomorrow and returned for the weekend when I return from working in Ireland.
I've just looked in the member list and realised that you are in Lancs; what is your excuse for not coming yourself ?
Ill at the moment with M.E and having to go with my partner to cycle races!
My FKD 'camera' has virtually no movements so not really suited to architectural work. Like to do portraits using old glass plates then contact print.
Can't think of any more excuses! Like to meet up sometime - when I have more energy
