The used 180mm Apo Sironar S on the Teamwork Digital website is a mirage, sadly, so I thought I'd check if anyone here had one in decent shape that they might consider parting with. Please drop me a line if you do.
Kind regards
David.

Ffordes have an Apo Sironar N ... which I realise is not precisely what you are looking for.Acheron Photography wrote:The used 180mm Apo Sironar S on the Teamwork Digital website is a mirage, sadly, so I thought I'd check if anyone here had one in decent shape that they might consider parting with. They also have an Apo Symmar ... which happens to be one I have listed with Ffordes.

Re: WTB: Apo Sironar S 180mm
Thanks David - I appreciate the heads up. I'm holding out for the S, though, as I want it for 5x7 and the coverage of the N and the Schneider lenses isn't quite what I'm looking for. Of course after a few months of not finding the S, I might well crack and get the N...David Evans wrote: Ffordes have an Apo Sironar N ... which I realise is not precisely what you are looking for.

You might consider putting a Wanted ad on Robert White's Noticeboard as it is only a fiver. It says it will stay on for 30 days, but much of the stuff that's on it just now is way longer than that, and I know that quite a few LF users visit this site and might just have what you want.

Re: WTB: Apo Sironar S 180mm
David Evans very helpfully pointed me towards ASA foto, and Andrew Skilling there showed me an appealing price for exactly the lens I was looking for. Thanks to all for their help.Acheron Photography wrote:The used 180mm Apo Sironar S on the Teamwork Digital website is a mirage, sadly, so I thought I'd check if anyone here had one in decent shape that they might consider parting with.
