This Schneider 4x lupe is the same as this one: http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/schneider-4x-lupe.html. As can be seen from the photos there is some superficial marking on the plastic body, but the lupe is in perfect working order.

Hi Graham. I bought it second hand, and it only came with the fitted skirt - i.e. the non-translucent one. I've never used it for slide viewing, but only on the camera ground glass, and so I have never noticed the lack of it.
