Angel of the North, by Charles Twist

For me, the word Icon has strong religious connotations, so it felt natural to show a picture of the Angel of the North, which is just up the road from me. Obviously, the Angel is also an icon of the north-east. The minor miracle here is the lack of people - and no, Photoshop was not used to delete intruders.
