Wtb: 150mm lens

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

I have a 90mm SA f8 in the for sale section at the moment. It is not mine and I am due to take it back to the guy tomorrow eve so if you are interested let me know and I can see if I can send images etc. He tells me he wants £120 ish for it. The glass is in great condition, shutter(00) seems ok if a little slow at 1/2 and 1sec.

The 90mm I picked up has had to go back...iffy shutter and dust etc so I am looking again for one.

Cheap and cheerfull F8 for now preferably please...will 'upgrade' to a mulitcoated nikkor etc later on but do let me know if you're looking to sell your 90mm.

I am also looking for a 150mm lens.
Small and light F5.6 please.

Thanks,

Marc

If you wish to spend a bit more, RW are currently selling a secondhand 150mm/f5.6 Nikkor W, mounted in a Copal 0 shutter, for £321+VAT

http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/product.as ... &PT_ID=499

I use one of these lenses myself & can vouch for their quality.

Alternately if you fancy bidding for a Rodenstock 90mm/f4.5 Grandagon N, there's one on fleabay at the moment at:

Love is an Ebony mounted with a Cooke PS945.......

Thanks,

Bit much for the nikkor I think...but that is shop retail prices for you..but it certainly is high up on my list of 150mm possibilities.

The rodenstock 90mm looks nice but as this lens is for a lot of travelling I'm really looking at an F8 or possibly 6.8 to keep the weight down.

Cheers,

Marc

I'm sure if you're after a 90mm f/8 for under 250 sheets then there should be a few on ffordes and the like. On the 150mm I doubt there's much need for spending big bucks, even a bog standard symmar has got ample coverage and great sharpness.

yes quite a few 90mm at ffordes.
These days, apart from ffordes, mifsuds, my cad, commercial, any other recommended used large format gear shops?

Thanks,

Marc

Teamwork, rob white for the less cheap end of the spectrum, plus there's occaisionally odds and sods pop up on other general camera/vintage/collectable sites like Collectable Cameras, MWclassics etc.
