The Sinar F and multipurpose standards are prone to cracks. I tried to glue one with superglue but it didn't work.
Does anyone know what does work?
Thank you,
Marizu

Have you tried epoxy such as Araldite? Usually works for anything. Dennis.

Hi Marizu - they're a total pain aren't they . . .but they are repariable with Araldite and gaffa tape . . .yes it looks ugly as hell, but it works. I'd recommend the Araldite Precision which is the slow-setting stuff, and keeping everything held together with masking tape until it all sets . . usually 24+ hours.
The one thing I will say about this is that it WON'T be an invisible mend . . .and when I discovered that I couldn't do that, I added a few layers of Araldite over the repair and then gaffa-taped it it all. I added these as assurances . . .not sure if they were entirely necessary, but I didn't want it falling abpart on me in the field!
You can also repair fluidless Sinar bubble levels with . . .vodka and Araldite
