WTB: Nikon M 200mm F/8 SORTED!

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

I'm looking for a Nikon M 200mm F/8 lens.
If anyone has one they want to sell, or knows where one is for sale, please PM me.
Thanks.

You may find this a viable alternative and unusually for this seller seems a reasonable price !

I wonder whether it is the coated or uncoated version.

Out of interest I note that he also has this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SS:GB:1123.

Hard to say without knowing the serial number but a risk of being single coated as it is in an older metal rimmed copal shutter. Would say 80's or early 90's rather than 200X. Still a nice lens though.

By his usual pricing structure does this mean the lens is actually only worth £80?

On a more serious note, maybe a 203mm Ektar might be a feasable alternative to the Nikon lens?

Thanks to everyone for the advice on alternatives.
However I'm now the proud owner of a lovely condition Nikon M 200MM lens, thanks to a very nice person from this forum.
