Fuji PA-45 Instant Film back

Post by Andrew Plume » Tue Jun 15, 2010 2:41 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

If anyone is interested in purchasing one of these, this may be helpful

Silverprint (who I consider are excellent people) have a retail price of £265.62 + postage

Freestyle (in LA) retail their's at $210 = £145 (at current rates) + say £35ish for s&h and UK import taxes, so a clear saving here of 80quid or so

Sorry, Silverprint

Regards

Andrew

Not guilty m'lud. Fuji UK took it on themselves to bring the backs into the UK - at Silverprint we're supporting them by taking their stock & selling them at their recommended price, which allows us to make a 'poor living'.

Certainly the price of the PA-45 back is now outrageous - we brought them in from B&H in New York originally & retailed them in the UK for something like £80 before they vanished for about a year and reappeared at this level.

I bought mine from Japan directly for the equivalent of £145 a couple of years ago, I seem to recall. The only downside was that all the instructions were in Japanese!
