SOLD Fujinon 400mm f8.0 T
My Fujinon 400mm f8.0 T (for Telephoto) lens is the next optic I'm offering for sale, due to my impending house move.
I bought it 5 years ago, when new to LF, and felt I needed to cover all the focal lengths possible on 5x4. I've discovered subsequently that I do most of my work with a 120mm, so this lens was rarely mounted to my camera. When it did, it gave wonderful results. I just didn't visualise many images that needed such a focal length very often, so it didn't end up in the bag unless I knew I'd need it beforehand.
For the past couple of years it has performed sterling service when attached to my GX680 MF camera, using the LF adapter for that beast. It gave me movements, and the ability to reach into the landscape and isolate details. However, recently I acquired the dedicated 300mm lens for that system, and this lens started to live in my lens cupboard again.
Being a telephoto design, you do not need 400mm of bellows draw to acheive infinity focus; 252mm is the quoted flange focal distance. It has an image circle of 220mm, which is big enough for 5x7, let alone 5x4. The front filter size is 72mm, if I recall correctly. The shutter is a modern Copal 1 design. I have tried all the shutter speeds today, and to my ear, they sound fine. The aperture scales are in place and correct. The lens comes with the original front and rear caps.
This example is in really good shape, both cosmetically and optically. Everything functions as it should.
I'm asking £595, plus £10 for insured shipping within the UK, for this lens. Overseas shipping will cost more--contact me for a firm postage cost. I prefer payment by bank transfer or by cheque. I'm happy to offer a 14 day return option, to allow you to make sure the lens is as I say it is.
I also have a Linhof-Technica plate (generic), cut for Copal 1 lenses, which is available for a further £15.
If you have any questions, please go ahead and PM them to me!

Re: FS Fujinon 400mm f8.0 T
Due to a change in format plans, I decided to remove this lens from sale, and took it off eBay. However, the change in format did not transpire, and so regretfully, I have to accept I don't need to hold onto this lens.
I've reduced the price to £425 + insured P&P.
