5x7 C41 and E6 labs?
5x7 C41 and E6 labs?
Please can anyone recommend any UK labs offering C41 and E6 development for 5x7 film?

Not the answer you want, but can you still get 5x7 E6 film?
NPS in Middlresbrough can't do 5x7, but they would be willing to look in to acquiring the right frames to dunk in their baths. Just a question of how much demand.
Regards,
Charles

I haven't checked all of these outfits recently but here are some names, in no particular order:
http://www.colorbase.co.uk/
http://www.metroimaging.co.uk/
http://www.mpsimaging.co.uk/
http://www.bayeux.co.uk/
Re Charles' question I am not aware of a source for C41 5x7 film at the moment. It is of course possible to cut down 8x10 film. E6 is certainly available, though perhaps not from any UK-based retailer. Not cheap, but a wonderful size and aspect ratio!

Re: 5x7 C41 and E6 labs?
Thanks for the links and suggestions. I have some E6 and C41 in 5x7 from the US where I've been living for a couple of years. Coming back to the UK next month. I have been totally spoiled by the price of sheet film here (and processing of C41 and E6). Looks like Metro will process 5x7 - in E6 at least - but at their current prices it would cost 336 quid including VAT to process the 40 sheets of Provia I have left in E6! OUCH!

Looks like The Darkroom will do 5x7 in E6 @ £4.65 a sheet, but that looks a bit expensive compared to £5 for an 8x10.

Apparently Peak Imaging can also do colour 5x7 at 3.15 a sheet inc vat which strikes me as decent value.
Re: 5x7 C41 and E6 labs?
Metro do not do 5x7, I asked them a while back. No hangars...

well....................
it looks like the Paignton outfit are cheapest by the proverbial country mile
I've used Peak in the past, the stuff that they produce is very good indeed............however there's a fair differential between the two, so why not give the Paignton guys a whirl with a few negs or whatever they're called in the colour world - has to make sense
