WTB : 5x4 field camera, lense

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

Hey, I am looking to make the step up and buy my own 5x4 camera.

I was just wondering if anyone has anything they would consider selling, looking for a more basic model and dont mind wood.

Alex

If you're not in a hurry there's always a good chance that something with pop up here in the coming weeks. If you are in a hurry then try some of the UK dealers such as http://www.ffordes.com (have just had a look and there's plenty of studio camera's but few field camera's). There also Robert White in Dorset and Teamwork in London.

Welcome to the forum BTW... why don't you post a little bit more about yourself in the Introductions?

Also had a quick look on your website and you have some very nice images... particularly like your Horizons and Forest series

Hi Alex

welcome on board

I do not have a spare 5x4 but I do have a spare rugged wood Kodak half plate which would be a pretty good user starter, if you don't mind the slightly larger format - if interested, send me a pm

regards

Thanks for the replies everyone, Maik - I PM'd you back.

I also have a mamiya 7 for sale, would it be wrong to advertise that on this forum as it isn't large format?

As long as you are selling it to fund your LF habit, I guess we could allow it
