B&H: Macro 120mm f/5.6 Nikkor-AM(ED) Lens with Copal #0

Hi,

If anybody is after a (good?) new macro lens, B&H are selling the Macro 120mm f/5.6 Nikkor-AM(ED) Lens with Copal #0 Shutter for $300. With $40 shipping that is still less than £200. Apparently they are going second hand on eBay for much more than this, so hurry if you want one. Throw in a few other extras such as inkjet cartridges and you have a good deal!

Hello Steve,

I have purchased one of these. Nice small lens, great value. I have not tested it yet but hope to shortly.

People should note that this lens will not cover 5x4 at infinity. It will amply cover at 1:1 and greater. I thought I would also test this at infinity with x 6x7 back.

I ordered mine on Monday evening, and I will be getting on Thursday. Have you had an order confirmation? I have dealt with B&H a few times, and have had no problem whatsoever.

Yes, I got email confirmations both when I placed the order and when the item was shipped.

I got done for import duty but the total overall cost was just £206.00. Pretty good for a pretty lens!

I got done for import duty, VAT and a courier surcharge. I don't know what exchange rate they use for calculating the VAT, but its not very close to the real rate. Still financially worthwile though.

No duty or anything on mine...
Not quite sure why. Maybe because it was delivered to our reception, or maybe because is was sent USPS, rather than FedEx...
Total cost was USD 333.

New lensboard will be here on Tuesday, so I hope I have something resembling a result by next weekend. :)
