WTB or part-exchange Sinar Norma 10x8 for field 10x8

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

WTB or part-exchange Sinar Norma 10x8 for field 10x8

Post by Chris Wilding » Sat Sep 29, 2012 10:24 pm Etc/GMT-1+01:00

Hi there

I am trying to get hold of a field 10x8 but am on a budget so would like to know if anybody is interested in swapping or working out a part-exchange deal on my Sinar Norma? Maybe you are wanting to do less 10x8 work but would like to have a mono rail as a back up, just in case?

I would really like to get hold of a Deardorff V8 or maybe a Gandolfi but would like to hear from anyone who is interested.

Anyway I'll post some pictures of my camera shortly but just wanted to put it out there.

Cheers

Chris

Hi there

As I was saying here are some pics of my camera.

The lens is not included and is for demonstration purposes only but I will swap out the 2 Sinar lens boards I have and include them as I wont be needing them.

So there is the camera and clamp, standard bellows, a set of bag bellows, a compendium lens hood, 1 extension rail and the 2 lens boards all in a large metal flight case.

The camera is old and clunky but it works and the foam inserts in the case could do with replacing as they are a bit scruffy, please contact me for further details and I have some more photos I can email if wanted.

If you wish to view the camera you are welcome I am in the Cambridge area.

Obviously I would expect to pay extra for a good field camera of the type I am looking for but if the deal interests you we can negotiate terms.

Cheers

Chris

good luck with this

if you are hoping to find a 'dorff in the UK or in Europe and to avoid VAT and the high cost of shipping, I'm afraid (as you may have already realised) that you would have to get very lucky indeed, 'dorff's as far as I know are pretty scarce outside of the US and a pretty decent Gandolfi not quite as but very hard to find nevertheless and if available, they will probbaly not be cheap, either

regards

andrew
