well I went out today to shoot at F8 or wider - normally I just f64 and forget to focus etc. It is quite interesting when you start to examine what you really want in focus and what the point of the image is....hope fully I will get round to scanning them in soon - once I have deved them and decieded to go back and try try try again. Great idea Thanks.

I have put up a picture by my good self for everyone's delectation and to spur some enthusiasm (see http://www.lf-photo.org.uk/projects/project2007_4.htm ). In so doing, I have realised that the picture needs to be a bit larger than usual to reveal the detail of the focal plane. So I will take pics up to 360 by 450 pixels or equivalent (saved as jpgs).
There are also a couple pics up for Project 3.
