Which leaves me to bestow the overtly appropriate Christian wish for a Happy Christmas for all, a time when some of us celebrate the coming of Jesus into our world as part of God's plan to restore God's covenant of love to mankind.

BTW, I am too old to believe in political correctness

I'm with you there! Can't work out if I'm either too old, too old-fashioned, or just too damned stubborn

but it irritates the life out of me as well.
If more of the world accepted these greetings in the spirit in which they're given, regardless of people's beliefs, we'd all be a happier bunch.

A very merry Christmas and a prosperous and productive New Year to everyone.
May the weather be kind, all your exposures be correct and a masterpiece appear with every shot (well we can try, can't we?).
Steve

Have a good Christmas everyone, I'll think of you all enjoying yourselves
My wife got the dates wrong so has a hospital check-up tomorrow (Xmas day), it's not a holiday here.
