On the other hand from China I tried the "Era" and didn't like it at all. It was very, very cheap (I have about 80 sheets left!), but the film base is a lot thinner and the sheet 'curves' a bit doing processing. It's just about good enough for lens tests !
So the ERA are simmilar as Efke? Like very thin base, not holding themselfs in the developing frames. fall out time to time with agitation, so it can only developed one by one in the train.

Film from Europe

Sorry to be a bore BUT I let the holiday season pass and tried Photoimpex again. The answer is NO. They claim that contractual obligations with Nigel at Retrophotographic will not allow them to export goods to England. As for Nigel, I think that he must have died and nobody can locate the body, certainly not by phone anyway. In my urgent quest for film I contacted Mr. Cad and it really hurts to admit that the service that I recieved was second to none, but I want 400 asa film not 100 asa which is the highest speed that Mr. Cad could offer, I still bought some though!

Well it was Nigel Dear himself who said it was no problem for me to buy from Fotoimpex direct, and Mirko agreed.

The common market means the EU is one open market, so if we want to buy from Berlin there is no reason why we can't.

If Nigel offered the same level of service, with items at the same prices with cheaper postage then it would make a big difference.
