You wont regret it, as long as you can master the Oxford one way systems and avoid cycling undertgraduates. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Out of curiosity, I was wondering which Camera A.A was using in this short film? His assistant I think is John Sexton.

Looked like a Linhof TechniKardan to me. The 'L'-shaped standards are a bit of a giveaway....

Went to see the Oxford exhibition last Friday; some of the prints really sing - well worth the visit to see just what can be achieved by a master.

BTW - if visiting its worth using the park and ride - the busses stop about 100 yards from the exhibition.

Horseman 450. Weight 10.9 lb. without the Horseman aluminum case you can see at around 2:30 into the video. The empty case weighs 15 lb. Not to mention lenses, the compendium shade, metal Polaroid holder, film, etc. Needed a young John Sexton to haul it around.

While my Horseman 450 was a wonderful tool in the studio, I quickly decided to replace it with something lighter for hikes.

...and now I've been there, and I really enjoyed the experience.
The images on display are those published in the "Ansel Adams:Classic Images" book.
The gallery is OK, new-ish, but already looks a little bit worn.
Still, its free to go in...treat yourselves!

I saw the exhibition in Oxford on the last day before it closed there. It is certainly worth visiting.
