Charles was right! Have you seen the weather forecast on the BBC website

Could this be a first ... agreeable weather for a workshop??
Or have I just scuppered the whole week having offended the Rain gods of Keswick

Paul,

Many thanks for arranging this workshop. I had a great time, and have just posted off a pile of 5x4 film to Peak Imaging. The weather certainly obliged this time around, and it was nice to meet up each evening, and chat with all the attendees. Photography is too often a lonely occupation, so these workshops are a great way to overcome that.

BTW, I've managed not to think about the Ebony 6x17 for 24 hours now. I will resist the urge to spend more money...

Yes: thank you Paul for organising this one. The weather was certainly splendid as were the colours. It would be nice to have your pictures to put on the website. This time I know who you are and I will not hesitate to harass.

Another offering - a chocolate box, colour scan this time

Bridge into Grange, Borrowdale. Fuji GX617 with 105mm with Centre filter. 1 second @ f32, Fuji Velvia 50.

Owwwwww!! That hurt

Granted it was taken on a roll film camera but .... I did compose on the ground glass screen (upside down & back to front), the camera was on a tripod, I used a cable release ... now grasping at straws trying to justify my use of medium format

oh yes, it uses LF lenses?? Okay, okay ... its a MF shot

Well, we did state that LF starts at 100 sq.cm. so I guess it sort of qualifies

No, seriously, having had a go at using a Fuji 617, more power to your elbow. Of couse, you do realise that, given your affectation for strokable cameras, you could end up with the ultimate wooden panoramic camera ?
