Still awaiting mine.....MPP users need to band together!
Dave P. has contacted me to tell me that he will re-send my screen, originally ordered in January this year.
Hopefully, I'll soon be able to report on the result of its arrival.
(My glass is always half full...!)

As I say guys, order one from BadgerGraphic, the Shen Hoa one fits perfect and mine turned up in less than a week.

My new Satin Snow ground glass arrived today.
Needless to say, the first thought that I had upon seeing who the package was from, was about the circumstances that Dave and his family have to deal with at the moment. I was somehow both surprised, and a little shocked to receive it. Not sure why.
On a technical note, I found that the general finished quality is significantly superior to my existing screen, and that the GG surface is milky and easier to focus.
So, on the basis of this alone, I commend them to you as replacement screens.
I hope that Dave uses my dimensions as a base for the MPP Mk VII - I allowed a little margin for fitting room, which has been successful.
I hope to use it very soon.
Best wishes to all
Aynsley

Did anyone ever get their SatinSnow screens?
Ordered and paid for mine on 8th Jun 2007, never received it. I know the guy had some serious family issues to deal with at the time so I didn't pester him about it, but it's been 18 months now.
A look at his webpage says he's not making them any more.
I emailed him once and he said he was just making it, that was probably 9 months ago, and emails now go unanswered.
Anyone else still waiting for theirs?

Dave does still post sometimes on the LFPI forum, he has said he's only finishing off existing paid for orders, and then stopping.
You might need to remind him, he had some pretty rough times over the past 2 years. He also offered to refund money as well.

I gave up after waiting 15 months or so for my 8x10 screen. Finaly got a refund after a few 'tries'
Thankfully there is a shop on ebay that makes them just as good, for cheap, and they arrive in 3 days... (from Belgium if I recall)

Sfunny, I bought a Shen Hao version (fits MPP VII) from Badgergraphic last year for £9.95 and the shipping was $22. I also bought one from SatinSnow direct, and that cost about the same (got fed up waiting).
If you have not already, I suggest you drop Badger an email and ask the cost of shipping; I was initially quoted $15 but it ended up at $22 so some guesswork may be involved on their part....
Great product, shame he's packing up.

I've just received a new GG from Brilliant Ground Glass. Looks very good indeed, MUCH finer grain than my standard Shen Hao GG.
He sells on ebay if anyone is interested.
