Gandolfi Whole Plate and holders

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

Gandolfi Whole Plate and holders

A bit unusual... I have a full set-up for whole plate work for sale. Includes:
Gandolfi traditional whole plate in mahogany with new GG, international whole plate back and 5x4 reducing back. Comes with a Linhof type lens panel frnt standard. Camera is in great condition, bellows light tight and all original parts. Comes with elasticated dark cloth.
I have 9 holders for sheet film which fit the international back. These are rare as hens teeth as they are normally glass plate holders with inserts. 5 are new unused Chamonix holders in cherry with carbon fibre slides. Others are an assortment of old holders all of which are in good working condition, one has a damage on one side but is usable.
A Whole plate contact printing frame is also available. This is antique but in nice condition and working.
I have film and a box of the new Lodima (Michael and Paula Smith) paper and amidol developer.
Obviously if you are seriously interested then I will provide pictures or arrange to meet/view.
Camera with both backs, 4 holders and dark cloth looking for offers around 800ukp.
Chamonix holders are 350ukp for the 5.
Rest of the stuff I will include for free if camera and holders are bought together otherwise 100ukp.

Many thanks

Dave

I forgot to add that there is also a 5x7 back and 6 Fidelity holders included in the price of the camera. The back is not an original Gandolfi back but from a 10x8 Kodak camera which has been reduced and fitted to the camera. You wouldnt know but for the wood being different. Works well.
I have added some pictures to my website in the Miscellaneous gallery.

Hi David-

What size is the Lodima, and how many?
Would you consider selling that, and the Amidol?
If so, how much?

Many thanks-
