Ebony SV45U for sale at Ffordes

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

If it's the same one, it was on an auction website with a starting price of 2695! I approached the seller who was unwilling to move from the price.

Can't see it being the same one as Ffordes buy at well below the price they sell, or will sell on commission for 20%, so the eBay seller would have been better off taking your offer. This particular one was waved in front of me when I was in Ffordes on Thursday, but way too exotic for my pocket!

On the same tack, however, Peter Walnes seems to have been buying in some LF kit and is expecting a Walker Titan XL 5x7 according to the link. http://www.peterwalnes.com/

I wish he had taken my offer, but he mentioned getting a better price as a commission sale from ffordes, so they're either taking a low commission or he's getting a lower price than he expected from the auction site.

Ffordes normal commission rate is 20% same as everyone else.

No longer listed, so I guess it has been sold!

May have fallen foul of ebay rules - it had comments about 'as new' in the listing. Didnt feel 100% to me either.... I would have been keen to exchange for cash on that one.
