FS: UMAX Powerlook 1100 - 50£

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

FS: UMAX Powerlook 1100 - 50£

Hi,

I am moving back to Canada from London and would like to sell some of my gear that can't be shipped/ that I no longer need.

First up is my scanner, a UMAX Powerlook 1100 that I've used to make test scans of my 10x8 transparencies. I say 'test' because I usually get drum scans done once I decide to print. The Powerlook does a fine job at 1600optical dpi, but scanning has come a long way since this was state of the art. So like I say, this has been a way for me to scan at home and get to know the file before paying for a print quality scan. That said, 300MB will give you a nice image.

It's a firewire scanner that runs with Vuescan or Silverfast. It's in fine condition, always been kept under a cover when not in use.

In any case, if you are like I was and want a cheap way to scan 10x8 trannies and you live close to London to pick this up, give me at call at 07942373427.

please email for photos

I'm new to the forum here but just purchased a lens from davejt3 and I have been on the North American LFForum for years with many transactions.

Best,
Chris

£20? It is such a useful scanner, firewire, runs on MAC OSX etc, would be a shame not to find a home for it. Pickup in London EC1.

This is a link to an ebay auction that ran but the person didn't come to pick it up.
