If velvia 50 is not re-stocked at reasonable prices I will use Provia Velvia 100 all the time.
Well, the last I was told was that Fuji UK had no plans to withdraw Velvia 50 in QL but they also said that they were disappointed with sales of the new film, in light of the furore over the withdrawal of the old emulsion. Well, it doesn't take too much brainpower to realise that many people bought freezers full of the old emulsion and could well still have quite a considerable stock to go through before buying any new stuff.
I have just spoken to "my man" in Fuji UK and he has told me that the next delivery into the UK will be November
. Until then someone like Badger might be the best source but it would be wise to try and raise a group order to reduce the shipping costs per box. What kind of quantities are people willing to order? Is it worthwhile my sending an email blast to all our members to see if they want to participate?
