Re: British Large Format Landscape Photographers
Looks pretty comprehensive Tim
I would suggest also
Bruce Cairns
Ian Leake
Peter Watson
Ian Scovell
Matt Sampson is currently in Hong Kong for a couple of years. David Noton? Thought he was entirely digital these days.
I'll rack my brain to see if I can think of any more.

If you want to avoid the 3am knock on the door, I would add Joanna and Helen pretty sharp-ish.
I would suggest you go through the member's list for a thorough attempt, but I am not sure that everyone wants to be named on a public list... May I ask the point of the exercise before we name names?
Best regards,
Charles

Hi Tim
Would you care to add my name to the list. I've been shooting slightly under 20 sheets/year, but am planning to shoot more LF now that I've sorted out a backpack I can actually carry the kit in.

Re: British Large Format Landscape Photographers
How about Liz Osborne, Bob Parslow, Richard Downer and Andy Fenner? Does Sami Nabeel count?
I'll go off and wrack my remaining grey cells for some more....

Good call - and no Sami doesn't count I'm afraid (sorry Sami!) I may get around to 'worldwide' at some point (Mr Greenwood has got a good start on that already!)joolsb wrote:How about Liz Osborne, Bob Parslow, Richard Downer and Andy Fenner? Does Sami Nabeel count?

Hi Tim
Mark Banks is a pretty good LFLP from your neck of the woods, jolly nice chap too.
Would you like to add my name to the list as well? I shoot well over 20 sheets a year and have the scary looking credit card bill to prove it
Kind regards
Sean

Re: British Large Format Landscape Photographers
Assuming you're counting 6x17 as large format then what about Mark Denton and a certain little known smalltime photographer called Colin Prior? I know Prior has also shot 4x5" but I've no idea as to his annual turnover these days. I also came across the website of this guy, Paul Armitage, shooting 6x12 on a Cambo 4x5 rig.
Personally since getting my camera 9 months ago I've shot 15 sheets (and a lot of 120.....). Does this qualify me on a pro-rata basis?

I'm not sure about 6x17... I'll have a think about that one. Does that mean 6x12 too? Hmm...
Thanks for confusing me

Quantity I think (at least that isn't *as* subjective)...Lynne Evans wrote:So are we talking quantity or quality here?

With around 500 sheets since the first UKLFPG workshop (5 years), we are already hitching up the huskies and heading eastCharles Twist wrote:If you want to avoid the 3am knock on the door, I would add Joanna and Helen pretty sharp-ish.

An educated guess is that Tim is attempting to provide market size numbers to throw at Fuji?Charles Twist wrote:May I ask the point of the exercise before we name names?
