WTB: DDS & jobo drum/reel

Anything to sell (WTS) or looking for anything specific (WTB)? Anything advertised on this forum comes with the usual "buyer beware" advice; it is up to the purchaser to assure themselves of the integrity of the supplier and item being sold. It is also the responsibility of the seller to ensure that payment is forthcoming before parting with said item.

I am on the lookout for a couple of 2609n reels and a 2521 or 2551 jobo drum for a CPE-2 processor I have just acquired....keen to try it out but it feels a bit scary!
Cheers,
Jenny

I`m sure you will be able to easily find one of those tanks and reels, as they are quite popular.
You might find this link useful.

Thanks Keith,

I have acquired the drums, and once I have reels and chemistry I am set to go...just need to go and take some images to process!

Peter Walnes (I'm fairly sure it was his site) has DDS's for £6 each or 6 for £30, at least he did 3 or 3 days ago. Around £8 each is the usual going rate from most reputable dealers if they are in good condition.

Have you tried here http://www.secondhanddarkroom.co.uk/www ... ?p=1&pno=0?
Never tried them myself, and prices may be a bit steep, and they may not have what you are looking for, but apart from that ...!

Many thanks David. Funnily enough I had a quick look at their website earlier today, but they don't have the tanks or reels I am looking for. I only need a reel to get me going, so I will probably get a new one when I am ready to order chemicals unless a used one has appeared by then. I'm itching to get going!

Hi Jenny

I'm trying to think of other possible suppliers, so here are a few:

http://www.rhdesigns.co.uk/ for new equipment - based in Hawes would you believe!

There's also Andrew Skilling who can be contacted at sales@asafoto.co.uk who deals in used studio and darkroom gear. No website. Based near St Helens.

Finally there's http://vintageclassiccamera.com/index.p ... 20a&page=2 but I can't get there website to load properly.

Good luck with your search!
